Artist's Comments

An awkward mix of digital foreground and traditional (watercolor, color pencils, gouache) background, pieced together (and then heavily touched up) with Photoshop magic.
It didn't go as planned at all =A=! I had to digitally paint over a lot of it so it wouldn't blend so uglily. I can't tell what part is what anymore D:


A monkey beat up Fuu and took her bunch of bananas :9
Rai is unconcerned. Solace-providing-fail.

Other than the proportion of the kid and the tree the monkey is on, it's great!

I know what you mean by awkward blending... But it works in its own ways... I love how you made the background... I never thought that was a painting until I read your comments. I thought it was a Photoshop zapped photograph... Great!
